Join us after the service as we bid farewell and good luck to our long-time Office Administrator/Church Secretary. We will be joining in the Parish Hall for a fun time of fellowship and farewell. Please bring a card gift for Sandie to honor the work and service she has been a part of for 11 1/2 years.


Study: Join us as we explore God's journey with and among us


We invite you to join in any of the many opportunities for study, fellowship, and sharing your journey with others here at LCOS.  You are welcome to join a study anytime.  If you have your own Bible, bring it along.  If not, Bibles are available.

Sundays at  9:15 a.m.

  • Adult Bible Study: "The Life and Ministry of the Messiah", Parish Hall.   Get to know the significance of place in scripture through this detailed video-based discussion facilitated by Dannell Duran.
  • Sunday school for youth:  God's Gift- Building a Firm Foundation for preschool - 6th.  7th to 12th grade youth are continuing to explore Bible stories.

Midweek studies:

  • Salt of the Earth meets Monday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Library.
  • Light of the World Group meets in the Library at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesdays.
  • Seekers is a home-based small group that meets Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.
  • Join Hope Circle in the Irma Miller Room on the second Saturday of the month at 9:30 a.m. to study the names of God in the book HOLY HABITS.
  • The prayer group meets every Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the church office. Prayer requests can be submitted to the church office, using the prayer cards in the pews, or by speaking to the pastor.
  • The Lutheran Church of Our Savior unit of the Women of the ELCA (WELCA) has circles for study and sewing. For other events, check our WELCA page and the calendar.

Rebecca Circle invites you to join in the sewing fun on third, fourth, and fifth Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. No experience necessary! Third Thursdays you'll usually find folks sewing diapers for Africa. Other projects benefit area veterans, those hospitalized, & others in need.


Can you spare a pint? Donations to our congregation's blood donor club help meet the needs of our members. You can donate to any donor center at any time, just specify Lutheran Church of Our Savior, San Bdno in the donor club line of your donation. Our nearest center is at 384 W. Orange Show Rd, San Bdno. Mary's Mercy Center We have a team of volunteers who prepare a meal and feed the people who come to Mary's Table on the 1st and 2nd Tuesdays of every month.  If you would like to be part of this ministry, contact Lorna Kenney, Harriet Roggenbuck, or Gordon Gertner.


You can support the poor of our community anytime by bringing food & serving items to the collection box in the parish hall.  *Fresh produce is also appreciated but should be taken directly to the mission.  Get full CCLM list as pdf. 

Frequently needed items for the food pantry and hot meal program include:

   Beans                Canned Fruits and Vegetables

For monetary donations, designate CCLM on your check.

CCLM also offers a medical clinic, after school tutoring, aerobics classes, a winter shelter for homeless men, and other services to heal, give hope to, and empower the community.

Join in worship at CCLM Sundays at 5pm, and contemplative prayer Wednesdays at 8am.

Lutheran Maritime Ministries

Yes, we have Christmas in December and in July when we collect Shoeboxes for hardworking seafarers.  Please keep this ministry in your prayers.  Go to the Lutheran Maritime Ministries blog to keep up with Chaplin Chim, Faye, Ron, and Samson as they serve the seafarers through gifts of fellowship, transportation, computer and phone communications, and sharing the love of God in Christ. 

Missionary Rev. John Lunn

Rev. John Lunn, an ordained minister and registered nurse, is our ELCA missionary healthcare resource in Tanzania. Individuals support John through their prayers and their financial support.  The sign-up is at the kiosk at the entrance of the church. Gifts & Stewardship

What is your area of service?
